Multi Service Corporation STATEMENT OF PRIVACY


Multi Service recognizes the importance of protecting your corporate and personal privacy and takes that obligation seriously. Multi Service also knows that you care about how your personal usage data, including your name, address, social security number, telephone number, and other personal information, and your company usage data, including annual revenues, federal ID numbers, and other corporate information (“Customer Information”) is used and/or shared. Multi Service’s sole intent in collecting Customer Information is to balance its legitimate business interests against the reasonable expectations of privacy of its customers. Consequently, Multi Service adopted this Statement of Privacy to inform customers of how we collect, store, and use Customer Information.


The abovementioned Statement of Privacy applies only to Multi Service marketing websites and therefore excludes any interface or transaction processing websites that are held under the Multi Service umbrella. The excluded interfaces and transaction processing websites include, but are not limited to, altivis, Direct Access, Tolls and Tunnels, and proprietary private label interfaces. The terms and conditions of the information passed through these sites are dealt with on a contract by contract basis.


Multi Service’s Internet website may contain hyperlinks and references to third party websites, and while Multi Service makes all reasonable efforts to hyperlink to websites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, Multi Service is not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of third party websites. As such, Multi Service encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from Multi Service’s website so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information.


When you enter any of Multi Service’s websites, we may store some information, in the form of a “Cookie” or similar file, on your computer. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your hard drive and not on our websites. Our Cookies do not spy on you or otherwise invade your privacy and they cannot invade your hard drive and steal information. Rather, Multi Service’s websites use Cookies to provide greater continuity to you during your session on Multi Service’s websites and to help you navigate Multi Service’s websites as easily as possible. Furthermore, the Cookies do not persist after you leave Multi Service’s websites. Multi Service may also use pixel tags (also known as “clear gif’s” “web beacon gif’s,” etc.).  Pixel tags are not visible to the user of the website and consist of a few lines of computer coding delivered with the webpage.  Pixel tags are not used to collect any personally identifiable information about you apart from what you voluntarily provide Multi Service in your dealings with Multi Service.  Multi Service uses the information collected through these technical methods for many purposes, e.g., tracking customer responses to Multi Service advertisements and website contents, determining your ability to retrieve HTML based email messages, calculating how many users open emails and clicked on links in those emails to determine whether a user has made an inquiry or purchase in response to a particular email, to allow us to better target interactive advertising, enhance customer support and site usability, and provide offers and promotions that we believe would be of interest to you.


All Customer Information is protected with various levels of security on our servers with technology that is consistently upgraded in an effort to safeguard Customer Information. Nonetheless, no security system or system of transmitting data online can be guaranteed to be entirely secure. Multi Service is not responsible, and by submitting any Customer Information to Multi Service, you hereby release Multi Service, from any liability for any breach of its security or for the actions of any third parties that may obtain any Customer Information.


When you seek to obtain services from us, we may collect various non-public Customer Information from you and from the following sources: Applications and other forms, or through other communication including information provided by mail, telephone, in person or electronically. Such information may include your name, address, employer, and other identifying information. We do not sell or share Customer Information to or with third parties, but aggregate information (that does not identify you personally) may be sold to or shared with third parties for marketing and business analysis purposes.


Users who visit any of Multi Service’s websites or respond to any of Multi Service’s marketing programs who no longer wish to receive information from Multi Service may opt-out of receiving such future information by sending an opt-out request to  Opt-out requests will be processed and implemented generally after thirty (30) days from the date of the request.  Multi Service may use third party email lists and third party advertisers to present information to potential clients. Multi Service will only use opt-in lists for this purpose. Users who may want to opt-out of a specific list where they have received information from Multi Service should opt-out directly with the list owner. If there are any issues in opting out with one of these sources, please notify Multi Service at and provide the name of the email list; we will contact the third party on your behalf to have your name removed.


This is a United States website and is subject to the laws of the State of Kansas. Multi Service reserves the right to disclose any Customer Information about you or your use of our services, even if you opt out of allowing us to share your Customer Information, without your prior permission if we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of Multi Service; (3) enforce any and all terms and conditions that may apply to you and/or your use of Multi Service’s websites or services; or (4) act to protect the interests of its users and customers. Multi Service’s adherence to this policy is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this policy is in derogation of Multi Service’s obligation to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to information provided to or gathered by Multi Service with respect to such use. Further, regardless of your opt out status, Multi Service may sell your Customer Information in a sale of all or a division of the assets of Multi Service. In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, 15 U.S.C., §§ 6501-06 and 16 C.F.R., §§ 312.1-312.12, our Sites do not permit children under 13 years of age to become users, and we do not collect information from children.
