OVERLAND PARK, Kansas, November 19, 2019 -- MSTS, a global B2B payment and credit solutions provider, today announced Watson Fuelcards, part of WFL (UK) Limited, the UK land business of World Fuel Services, has signed on as a new customer using its payment solutions. MSTS will provide Watson Fuelcards with increased efficiencies in their payment process and improved customer insights and analysis.
With MSTS’ solutions, Watson Fuelcards will be able to link their customers’ data into Salesforce and Oracle, have greater flexibility in managing account information, and see more seamless imports of card information and other data for onboarding. These tasks and data insights will be accessed from a customized client portal for Watson Fuelcards.
“We are excited to expand our relationship with Watson Fuelcards to reduce friction in their payments process,” said Inez Berkhof-Hollander, MSTS VP of EMEA. “The B2B payments process in every industry, not just transportation, needs an overhaul. It’s currently too manual, complicated and inflexible for the demands of customers. We seek to bring in the needed technology to create smoother, faster processes and use existing data in smarter ways.”
Watson Fuelcards provides a nationwide fuel card service for commercial fleets. The company offers various fuel card options and often fleet managers purchase several different card types. Under the old payment system, each required separate invoices. Now, MSTS will provide consolidated billing services so fleet managers can save time and receive simplified invoices. Watson Fuelcards customers will also have the option to link MSTS to their own analytics tools, providing greater insight into fuel usage, buying patterns and more, which will help them make more informed business decisions and cut down on costs.
“We have outgrown our old payment platform,” said Andrew Watson, Fuelcard Director at Watson Fuelcards. “It was not purpose-built for aggregating transactions and reselling fuel efficiently. With MSTS we will now be able to scale our payment technology alongside our business and eliminate tedious manual processes, providing our customers with an easier, more simplified payments process.”
MSTS’ payment solutions will become available to Watson Fuelcards customers starting in October of this year. Learn more about MSTS’ credit and payment solutions.
