October is National Women in Small Business Month and MSTS is excited to celebrate the accomplishments and growth of all female entrepreneurs. The number of women-owned businesses continues to grow across the U.S. at a swift pace. According to a new report, between 2014 and 2019, the number of women-owned businesses rose to 21%, which is a total of nearly 13 million. And, employment by women-owned firms increased by 8 percent.
In an effort to celebrate the advancements women in business are making, MSTS is launching a new campaign, Female Forerunners, to spotlight several women entrepreneurs who have made significant impacts to both the businesses they work for and women in general.
